PRESENTATION OF Gaining Through Training:
This project will predominantly target people in the labour market referred to in the UK as NEET (not in education, employment or training). The majority of the 31 trainees we recruit, even for longer placements will be adults who are considered as excluded, or ‘with fewer opportunities’ and those from minority ethnic groups. This will include individuals leaving prison, ex-offenders and those at risk of offending; participants with a history of alcohol or substance misuse, those who have experienced homelessness, young parents, individuals who are second generation unemployed and those suffering from mild mental ill-health. Our PLM target group will mainly be recruited from those not currently employed, however we will also support those undertaking work based learning. Although this may seem a diverse group, it is the target group we work with in all our activities and with whom we have a track record of supporting through ten years of activity in various local & international programmes.
Our target group have often had poor experiences of formal education, have left school early without completing their compulsory education.

In order to promote the project we invited a former Leonardo that we sent on a previous Leonardo application to share his experience and explained the impact it had on his life. From this interview we created this video, using old footage of Nathan in his project.

Steve, our short term programmes facilitator was at the Leeds Connexion’s ‘‘Speed Networking’’ event in Leeds, in order to promote our new projects through ''Gaining Through Training'' and both the Youth in Action and Lifelong Learning Programme of the European Commission.

Everything is Possible took part in the EY 2011 Volunteers event organised by Europe Direct in North East England in Durham, on the Thursday, 13th October.

- EUROPEAN JOB DAY, 9th November (MANCHESTER):
The 9th November 2011, Everything is Possible was at the European Job Day in Manchester (event hosted by EURES UK). One of our former short term volunteer joined us to share its experience. During this day, the team informed around 150 people about both the Youth in Action and Lifelong Learning Programmes and presented our Leonardo "Gaining Through Training" opportunities. At the end of the day around 65 persons filled a form to hear more about our projects.
- NEW YEAR NEW START, 25th January (LEEDS):
The 25th January 2012, Everything is Possible was a the event ''New Year, New Start'', organised by Europe Direct and the Leeds Library. During this day we met around 50 young people and social workers and presented our new Leonardo project, especially through a video of our Leonardo projects in Sweden.

- NEW YEAR NEW START, 25th January (LEEDS):
Regarding the promotion of this event, the Probation Service’s ‘Community Payback’ scheme has finished leaflets door to door in an area that covers approximately 6,500 households, according to the Leeds Library. Local schools have been provided with leaflets for their pupils to take home. Library members, for some of whom we have emails, have been emailed. Previous users of the Library’s Jobseekers advice service as well as local community groups have been emailed. The event's webpage has had over 1100 hits so far.

- OPEN DAY - European Opportunities Abroad, 8th May 2012 (LEEDS):
There are many international opportunities funded by the European Commission (Volunteering, Training, Workshop, etc), but few are known by the public. For this reason, Everything is Possible and Europe Direct decided to celebrate the European Day by sharing these international opportunities during an Open Day on the 9th May at the Leeds Central Library.
We prepared an open market from 13.00 to 19.00 where people discovered, European opportunities abroad. Everything is Possible volunteering and training projects were discuss with the public. Former volunteers were there as well to share their experience.
We also ran two info sessions during which we presented volunteering and training projects overseas.
Around 70 young people came during this day and nearly 30 expressed an interest to learn more about the volunteering and training projects.
Coming Wednesday 16th May, Everything is Possible with the support of Leeds Direct will organise at the Leeds Central Library a second session with 20 of this young people interested by a short term projects. This weekend we will organise another meeting for those who want to do a long term project.
Everything is Possible is a non-profit organisation which offers mobility opportunities abroad.
November 2012 : Around 40 young people came to our last OPEN DAY
Wednesday 21st November, Everything is Possible organized with the help of Europe Direct, an Open Day at the Leeds Central Library, in order to promote European opportunities abroad. Indeed there are many international opportunities funded by the European Commission (Volunteering, Training, Workshop, etc.), but few are known by the public. Everything is Possible volunteering and training projects were discussed with the public during three info sessions.
Around 40 young people came during this afternoon, expressing at the end an interest to learn more about the volunteering and training projects.

January 2013: 30 young people on a process to go on a mobility project abroad after a meeting supported by Europe Direct.
On the 9th January 2013, Everything Is Possible organised, with the help of Europe Direct, a meeting at Leeds Central Library. This event was a follow-up to an open day organised in November 2012. In total 30 young people came to take their first steps of their sending process with EiP. They discussed with the team about their motivations and which volunteering/training project abroad would be the most suitable for them. Everything Is Possible is offering different types of project (environmental, social, working with children, sport, music, media, etc.) all around the world (for example Aruba, Reunion Island, Italy, Portugal, France). All the opportunities are supported by the British Council, ECORYS UK and the Youth in Action & Lifelong Learning programme.
Since this meeting, some young people have already begun language courses as part of their preparation process before departure. Two are due to go to Reunion Island in June 2013 and one to Italy in May.
Everything Is Possible also participated in the ‘’New Year New Start’’ event on the 24th January which was a brilliant opportunity to meet local people (young people, parents, professionals, partners). During this afternoon, Everything Is Possible presented international mobility projects funded by the European Commission. Hopefully they will spread the word about these fantastic opportunities.

On the 17 May 2013, Everything Is Possible is welcoming young people to its office who are interested in undertaking a mobility project abroad.
All the participants came to our previous Open Day at which 50 young people (and less young) joined us. During that day we presented our many opportunities (Volunteering, Training, Workshops, etc.) around the world (Aruba, Reunion Island, Italy, Malta, and many other countries). May 2013: Everything Is Possible at the Progression Fair, Wednesday 1st May
Everything Is Possible was at the Progression Fair organised by Leeds City College (the 3rd largest college of Further and Higher Education in the UK) on Wednesday 1st May, from 10am to 3pm at the Civic Hall, Leeds.
During that day, we informed around 100 people about our International Mobility opportunities at the Progression Fair organised by Leeds City College.
